Hi,
I have a query regarding a family member who is recovering from COVID (first symptom on 24th April so now around 20 days). He has type-2 diabetes and started a course of medrol (16 mg for 4 days and 8 mg for 3 days) around day 7-8. His sugar levels spiked to 300-400 during that time and now are back to 130-`140 range after he stopped medrol. Pre-covid he was taking Macsart ch, asomex 2.5, Thyroxin 25, and Tenlimac M500 (all once a day). During covid he also added Amaryl once a day in the beginning, and increased it to twice a day when he started steroids. He is still taking Amaryl twice a day and since D-Dimer was around 400, also taking Rivaroxaban. Wanted to ask if/when should he stop Amaryl and Rivaroxaban.
experience that Verna went through didn’t bring her down, but rather she saw this as a reference point to give back and to help people who have been down a similar path. Verna Haywood
